IN-SILICO STUDIES, SYNTHESIS & CHARACTERISATION OF 4- METHYL 9,10-DIHYDRO-2H,8H-CHROMENO[8,7-e][1,3]OXAZIN-2-ONE

Abstract : A rapid and efficient synthesis of coumarin derivatives by Pechmann condensation reactions of resorcinol with ethyl acetoacetate using Sulphuric acid as a catalyst under microwave irradiation is described. Followed by Chromeno Oxazin-8-0ne derivative were synthesized by reaction between coumarin and various substituted amines. The synthetic route was easy to access and gave excellent yields under microwave irradiation conditions compared to the conventional heating route. The newly synthesized compounds were systematically characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, MS analyses. Using MOLINSPIRATION , SWISS ADME toolkits, pharmacokinetic profiles of the designed scaffolds were investigated and the results showed their potential as promising drug candidates. Further studies are warranted to check the efficacy of these molecules by various in vitro and in vivo methods and elucidation of mechanism of action.
